Not everything can be paid for, and let’s face it, as college students most of us are much more interested in the things money can’t buy anyway. Here is a list of 13 things college students want that cannot be bought.

1. Home cooked meals

Let’s face it, after a semester away from home nothing is better than your mom’s best dinner.

2. Reunions with family pets

No pets on campus means you can’t take your four legged best friend with you. You miss them like family and your reunion is just as sweet.

3. Sleep

Sleep is too far beyond our grasp when there’s finals and projects to worry about.

4. Passing final grades

When final grades come out that A just can’t be bought, and there is no greater feeling than knowing your work paid off. No pun intended.

5. A social life

Studying has made this recently impossible. Not to mention how much you miss your friends from home.

6. Money

I mean, hey, technically you can’t BUY money, and tuition doesn’t pay itself.

7. Family time

As much as they may annoy you sometimes, four months is a long time to be without them.

8. Time given back

College causes growing up to hit you like a break, and once you realize it there is nothing desired more than getting the time you spent in the past back.

9. No family interrogations

No I do not know what I want to do with my life. Please stop.

10. Time with younger siblings/family babies

Growing up strikes again! There is nothing like playing with little kids to make you feel like a care-free child again.

11. Sanity

College pretty much takes that, being home is the only opportunity to get it back.

12. Having your own room

You love your roommate to death, but having your own space can be pretty great too. And you only have one at home.

13. Motivation

Motivation to do pretty much anything is pretty hard to come by this time of year.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
