We've all had to deal with it, the "That is so unladylike" comments, the evil eye at a family gathering, or just the general look of shock on peoples faces when they realize you can be a female, and not be just "pretty and silent."
- Napkins? What are napkins?
- And forget delicate eating.
- You never cross your legs
- You have no problem with profanity.
- And you don’t care about “inappropriate conversation”
- You know you smell and sweat and you don't care.
- When you wear a dress you’re always too busy moving around, and don’t worry about if it comes up.
- You are proud of your burps.
- You are not afraid to FIGHT.
- You can’t bother with looking “socially acceptable” all the time.
- You refuse to let others talk over you, and to disrespect you.
- You don’t shade other women for being more traditionally feminine.
- Basically, you don’t care one bit what society tells you you should do in order to fit a set of standards made up by someone else that isn’t you.
