13 Stages Of Returning To Your Summer Job As Told By Bitmojis

Bitmojis are the newest smartphone phenomenon, where you can create your identical character and make realistic reaction images for your life. If you and your squad use them as much as me and mine, you will be familiar with the images I am about to present to you. Here are the reactions you have as the inevitable is upon you; returning to your summer job.

1. Your boss texts you for your summer hours.

After recklessly spending all the money you made last summer, you're now more ready than ever to make that moolah.

2. Having a week or two between school and work with no responsibilities.

3. But then your first day scheduled rolls around.

Is it bad to call in sick on your first day back?

4. Seeing all your work friends for the first time in months.

And they hit you with all the gossip you missed in the past year.

5. When the first customer comes in and you remember you actually have to work.

6. Getting hit with the rush like.

Where did all these people come from? We need a new plague.

7. And being the only one that can take charge when it gets busy.

No big deal, but you totally deserve a raise.

8. When your lunch break is approaching.

9. Dealing with that really rude customer.

It takes everything in your power to force a smile and say, "Have a nice day."

10. Your boss asking you to stay five minutes longer.

Like you don't sacrifice enough of your life for them?

11. Pulling out of the parking lot when your shift is over.

You honestly can't get out of there fast enough.

12. Getting your first paycheck.

Now you have more than $3 in your wallet!

13. Practically selling your soul for the summer like.

It's fine. You're fine.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
