Franklin, Massachusetts: A small little town with the population of 31,635 people. A town where rarely nothing that exciting happens, but sometimes boring is better. Sometimes. However, there are many things in Franklin that let one know loud and proud that they are in there.

Here are 13 signs that you know you are from or grew up in Franklin, Massachusetts.

1. The Zeotrope Theatre

Cheap movies and close to home... BRING THIS BACK!!

2. Franklin Children's School

First off...this place looks WAY different from when I went there 16 years ago. Second, most of you people my age that are reading this most likely went here and it was the best time of our lives

3. Middle School Hangouts

You are straight up lying to yourself if you say on half days you did not go to The Plaza with your friends because you thought it made you badass.

4. The Old Franklin High School

You know you grew up in Franklin if you went to this Franklin High School. Also, remember that time when this was also Oak Street Elementary School?

P.S. Remember the Oak Street Elementary Song?

5. Spruce Pond

Spruce Pond is more than just an body of water. It is one of the best ice cream places in town.

6. St. Rocco's

To be honest, you felt like you were on top of the world when you reached the age that you could go to the best carnival in town without an adult.

7. Fast Food Convenience

You know you grew up in Franklin when you do not need to leave town to get something to eat. Franklin has every fast food place imaginable giving you an abundance of McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's and my personal favorite, Panera.

8. Elizabeth's Bagels

No matter what day of the week it is, you won't go to Elizabeth's Bagels and not see at least ten people you graduated with. However, the up to 15 minute wait in line is honestly more than okay because the wait is totally worth it.

9. Franklin Public Library

You probably can't count the amount of history lessons you learned about the Franklin Public Library being that it is the first public library in the country. Also, you were wicked cool if you had your own library card.

10. Dean College

At one point or another, if you grew up in Franklin you have said at least once in your life, "I am going to go to Dean College!" because you really had no clue what college was, or, really, what you were talking about.

11. Franklin Town Common

You know you are from Franklin if you have taken a school field trip to the town common at least once. C'MON PEOPLE, remember 5th grade?

12. Knowing Everybody

If you are from Franklin, you are either a Stop and Shop or a Shaw's shopper and no in between. Although, if it's Sunday, you probably go to Market Basket. No matter what grocery store you go to, it is basically a giant hang out with everyone you know because no matter the place you go in Franklin, you are bound to see at least seven people you know.

Hey, we can't help it that we're a small town.

13. Nothing Ever Changes

Lastly, you know you are from Franklin if you realize nothing ever changes. Yes, restaurants come and go, new blinking stop signs are put up in random places, but for the most part...every time you leave and come back every thing is exactly the same.

Except when they decide to turn the giant one way road in downtown Franklin into a two way street. That will be interesting.

At the end of the day, Franklin is where I learned to walk, where I learned to talk, where I learned to drive, and where I signed my acceptance letter for college. So for me, the little town of Franklin is filled with so many great memories that I will never forget, and I am sure that is the same for many others.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
