13 Signs You Grew Up With A Big Brother

My brother is the best person I have ever met, but that doesn't mean that growing up with him was easy. No matter the struggles, we still managed to have so many fun times along the way.

1. You're tough.

Being tough was key to survival.

2. You had a crush on every boy he brought home.

You even told your friends you were going to marry them.

3. Ex boyfriend problems? Never fear.

Brothers live to scare the mess out of the boys who hurt their sisters.

4. So. Many. T-shirts.

I'm pretty sure my love for over sized t-shirts started here.

5. You love sports.

College Football Saturdays are mandatory.

6. You were always taken on cool adventures.

With this, came the heap of trouble you both got in when Mom found out.

7. He always did your heavy lifting for you.

*Little girl voice* "Hey Bubba, will you pick up this box, please?"

8. Him leaving the dang toilet seat up was nine times out of ten the reason you two were fighting.

I've fallen in the toilet more times than I'd like to admit.

9. Your high school teachers knew you as his little sister.

... And they either loved you or they hated you.

10. You had your own personal driver.

If he was going out, so were you. You even got some form of dessert so you wouldn't tell your parents where you were.

11. You had the inside scoop on the older crowd.

Only because the walls are thin and boys are not good with secrets.

12. Ordered too much food? You're in luck.

Take it home. You just acquired your new bargaining tool.

13. He's your best friend.

Growing up without him is unthinkable.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
