While some people may have had better experiences, for most, middle school was awkward, dramatic and emotional. What's better than looking back and laughing at your prepubescent self. Remember when you thought the world would end if you didn't get an iPod mini for Christmas??

Here's a list of some of your middle school necessities.

1. Designer polos with crazy- large logos.

2. Abercrombie or Hollister everything.

I'm sure these companies are missing their glorious days of free advertising...

4. A Myspace... that you hid from your mom.

5. Really cool book socks.

6. A Jessica McClintock dress for every Bar Mitzva.

(Yes this designer still exists.. and the dresses still look the same.)

7. Chunky silver Tiffany bracelets and necklaces.

8. A fashionable Vera Bradley tote to carry your books.

9. Dooney and Bourke wrist-lists.

10. Coach shoes (thankfully never bought into this trend.)

11. Birkenstocks, Uggs, and Nike Shox as your only acceptable forms of footwear.

12. A North Face jacket.

13. And any flip phone with a full keyboard.

Ah, the days when everyone had a different cell phone.
