It's the new hit Netflix Original to be binged watched. Everyone is talking about it. I bet you can't go on Facebook or Twitter without seeing a meme or post about it. Though how many actually read the book? Did you even know it was a book before it was a TV series?
If you are like most of my friends who are immersing themselves into it that answer is probably no to one or both of those questions. So I have a challenge for you. Like Hannah Baker had a challenge for all those who listened to her tapes. My challenge for all of you is to read the book.
And here are 13 reasons why...
1. Because besides from Clay, everyone is described a lot differently in the book
2. You get more the kids side than the parents side
3. You become way more attached to ALL the characters
4. They missed some important details in the TV series
5. You learn more lessons from the story by reading the book than watching the show
6. You get mad at Hannah (you'll understand if you read it)
7. You'll feel just as bad as Clay does listening to Hannah's story
7. You feel like you've been best friends with Hannah for years
8. You can relate to some problems everyone in the book faces
9. It makes you see the world a little differently
10. Your imagination is a way better TV set than real life
11. When things get emotional in the book, it moves you to tears
12. Becuase Jay Asher is an amazing writer
13. Because Hannah would have wanted you to
