I just finished the very controversial Netflix series "13 Reasons Why" and let me just say after stress eating an entire sleeve of cookies while watching it, there are so many reasons why that show did not settle right with me.
Although the plot has a strong message and shows the debilitating impacts of bullying, it seems like that show should not be available on mainstream accounts where a child of any age whose family has Netflix can come across it.
That being said, as fitting as it is that May is National Mental Health Awareness Month everyone should be remembered from time to time why they matter because EVERYONE does matter. Everyone is a brother, sister, husband, wife, daughter, son, grandmother, grandfather etc. who is cherished, loved and valued. You matter because...
1. You are loved
2. You are more than enough
3. Tomorrow is a new day
5. You have a purpose in this world
6. You are beautiful
7. You are strong
8. Your talents are unique
9. Your smile lights up a room
10. You have a big heart
11. There is only one YOU
12. You make people laugh
13. You have a big heart
