Ogunquit is located on the southern tip of Maine between York and Wells. It's gorgeous beaches, out of this world restaurants and peaceful atmosphere, make it a place you have to consider visiting at some point in time. My family and I visit Ogunquit every single year. I hope this article inspires you to do the same!

1. The Beach

The beach is magnificent, with smooth sand and gentle waves crashing along the shore. Spending your days at the beach is the best idea.

2. The Marginal Way

A mile-long strip of picturesque oceanfront property, lined with fragrant pink and white sea roses and hidden coves. Take a walk or run along the beautiful blue sea and explore.

3. The Ogunquit Playhouse

It is one of my biggest dreams to perform at this playhouse. I highly recommend planning to see a show while you're in Ogunquit. It's Broadway! This summer check out Million Dollar Quartet, Anything Goes, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert and a brand new musicalThe Hunchback Of Notre Dame!!!

4. Perkins Cove

This central spot in Ogunquit is filled with cute little boutiques, a pottery store and the famous restaurant Barnacle Billy's.

5. The Trollies

Dolly, Polly, Lolly, Molly, Wally, and Rolly cruise around town. Hopping onto one of these trollies is always a great time.

6. The Ogunquit Museum Of American Art

If you are an artist or simply a lover of art, this museum is a must see for you. It's right on the ocean!

7. The Resorts

There are many places to stay in Ogunquit. No matter where you stay you are only a walk away from the beach. My family loves The Sparhawk and The Anchorage.

8. The Shopping

Who does't love to shop? There are exquisite shops in the center of town, in Perkins Cove and all the way down to the beach. If you want something sweet while you're shopping, check out Harbor Candy Shop!

9. The Atmosphere

It's nice to get away for a while and reconnect to your most joyous and true self. Ogunquit has always been a place that brings me back to my roots.

10. The Food

Hold on! This needs to be broken down into separate sections.

11. Breakfast

I adore breakfast. There is something so special about the morning time. Check out these restaurants for the best breakfast in town!

My Top 5-

Love Shack Juicery- AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
