13 Reasons Why Jeff Atkins Deserved Better

Everyone loves the hunky, dreamy baseball player from Liberty High School. Unfortunately, he had a terrible death that was not his fault. Jeff was a great asset to the show and here are "13 Reasons Why" Jeff Atkins deserved a better life.

1. He was a great ballplayer

2. He cared about his grades

To play baseball he had to keep his grades up. He got the help that he knew he needed.

3. He was a great wing man

Clay tutors Jeff in school, but Jeff tutors Clay in life. Jeff pushed Clay out of his comfort zone, especially with girls, especially with Hannah.

4. He cared about his family

When Clay went to Jeff's parent's house, his parents bragged about how much he loved his family and playing baseball.

5. He was Clay's only real friend

When no one was there besides Hannah and Hannah wasn't ever really there for Clay? Jeff was by his side and being his friend. He took a freshman under his upperclassman wing.

6. He was caught up in all of the drama

There was no reason for him to die besides all of the school drama that started when the picture let out of Hannah, leading back to Bryce.

7. His looks. (Come on I had to say it)

Who would want that handsome face off the screen?

8. He was reassuring

When going on the beer run he was very reassuring to Clay that he wasn't drunk and could drive. H wasn't driving under the influence even though it really looked like he did.

9. He is the only student-athlete on the team that isn't a total scumbag

Jeff really didn't hang out with the other guys at school. He cared about people's lives and wanted to help them.

10. The dance between Hannah and Clay would have never happened

Jeff pushed Clay to get out of his little bubble and go dance with Hannah and ultimately have a great night.

11. He helped Clay fill out the dollar valentine

(Hannah was at the top of his list, if only we knew who was at the top of Hannah's.)

12. His death impacted Clay more than people realize

Clay lost 2 really good friends throughout High School. When Jeff died, Hannah tried to comfort him but he didn't want any part of it. He avoided a lot of people.

13. Jeff's death wasn't his fault

Some silly girls that may or may not have drank too much, and didn't know what to do in a tough situation were ultimately a part of the reason for Jeff's death. If that stop sign wasn't knocked down than Jeff would have a much better chance at life.

All in all, Jeff was a great character to on the show and had a lot of meaning to it that most people overlook. Rest in Peace Jeff Atkins!

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
