13 Reasons Why Christmas is the Best Holiday

1. Christ's Birthday- This is the number one reason why Christmas is the best holiday. It’s a time where we remember and celebrate the birth of our King, and besides, we wouldn’t have Christmas with Him.

2. My Birthday- My birthday happens to be on Christmas too. :)

3. Family- It’s a time where family comes together, and if they don’t like each other they at least pretend to, sometimes...

4. School break- Everyone loves getting out of school. Christmas break tends to be the longest break of the year. Other than summer!

5. Everyone tends to be nicer- Everyone, for the most part, tends to be nicer, or at least they try.

6. Christmas lights- Who doesn’t like looking at all the different displays of lights, even if they are a pain to put up sometimes.

7. Holiday scents- The smell of baking and the special scented candles.

8. Christmas trees- And let’s not forget that the Christmas trees. The decorating of the tree has always been one of my favorite activities.

9. Candy Canes- The candy canes come out!

10. Traditions- The traditions that get passed down from one generation to the next, creating new ones on the way.

11. Gifts- Who doesn’t like getting gifts!

12. Laughs- The laughs that are shared will always be kept in one's heart.

13. Memories- The memories made will always be treasured.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
