Let's talk about this binge worthy show with this amazing meaning behind it: 13 Reasons Why.

Suicide. Did you cringe a little? Shut yourself down? Skip over it? Suicide isn't something we talk about...or at least, not something we talk about like we should. It's a big deal, and it's not something we should skip over. According to Jasonfoundation.com, on average, there are over five thousand suicides in our nation everyday between grades seven to twelve. Its a big deal; we need to actively try to do something about it.

"I guess that's the point of it all. No one knows for certain how much impact they have on the lives of other people. Oftentimes, we have no clue. Yet we push it just the same." Our actions on a day-to-day basis has an impact on people, even if what we think we are doing is no big deal. Sometimes it is a big deal to the person that is getting the blow back from your actions, and as much as we hate to admit it, sometimes we play a part in a person's decision to end their life. It's scary and we hate to think about it, but it's true and we have to work on being kinder. Our actions can be the difference between life and death.

In all honesty, I don't understand how some people can go along in rumors and actions that hurt other people, but I would be hypocritical if I didn't admit that I've been a part of it. I think it would be a lie to say that none of us have. I think it happens to everyone at least once, but more likely than not, more than once. In high school especially, we are constantly bombarded by rumors, drama, and hurtful actions. It is unavoidable, but what if we made the choice to be better? We should choose to help each other grow rather than knock each other down. The words of others can help or hurt us. Wouldn't we rather let them help?

"You don't know what's going on in anyone's life but your own. And when you mess with one part of a person's life, you're not just messing with that part. Unfortunately, you can't be that precise and selective. When you mess with one part of that person's life, you're messing with their entire life." So be careful what you say and what you do because it does matter.

If you haven't watched 13 Reasons Why, I highly recommend it. You can guess what it's about...suicide, but it's more than that. Seven tapes, seven reasons why, watch and find out the reasons.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
