For those of us who have siblings, we know the great things (and struggles) that can come out of not being an only child. We all fight with our siblings, but by the end of the day we're best friends once again. Here are 13 reasons why I love my sisters.

1. They always listen to my rants.

Every time I talk to them it seems like I have a new story to tell them. There's always some drama and every time I tell them a new story, they're as invested in it as I am.

2. They love me unconditionally.

They're my sisters. We're stuck with each other for life. They have to love me, and I have to love them.

3. Our inside jokes are the highlights to my day.

My sisters understand things that no one else does. Since we spent so much time together, we had moments together that resulted in the best inside jokes. Every time I tell them I'm upset, they're sure to bring up an instance that'll have me laughing in no time.

4. They always agree with me to make me feel better.

When I get into arguments with friends and tell them the stories, my sisters know I'm overreacting, but in the end will always agree with me.

5. We're not afraid to tell each other the truth.

My sisters have stopped me from making the worst decisions many times. If I wanted an ugly haircut, they weren't afraid to tell me how bad I would look. They made sure to keep me in the right mindset as I did with them.

6. Sometimes, they take the blame for me.

Oh, they took the blame many, many times. Most of the time, I would have to offer something in return. Of course there were times when my sisters took the blame just to keep me out of trouble, though.

7. The fun we have together is better than when I'm with anyone else.

When I'm with my sisters, we can be as silly as we want without worrying about being judged because we're being stupid together.

8. We have the best memories together.

None of my friends will remember any funny memories from my childhood because they weren't there. My sisters will always know what I'm talking about, though, and we'll spend hours laughing and reminiscing.

9. We can go any amount of time without talking and still be as close as before.

That's the thing about sisters: We're always there, even if we aren't. Sometimes I get busy while away at college and I go a week or two without talking to my sisters. As soon as I call them again, though, we're back to gossiping and joking around as if the last time we talked was the day before.

10. Most of the time, we have the same interests.

There's no stronger bond between two people then when you have something in common. My sisters and I are all basically the same people. Usually, we hate the same things or love them. We can spend hours chatting about them and never get bored because it's something we're interested in.

11. They'll always sing along with me during car rides.

When I'm with my friends, we have sing-alongs. Except, it's usually whatever comes on the radio. Whenever I'm with my sisters, we'll be jamming to Lion King or some other song and have no shame. It doesn't matter if we suck at singing, we're all singing at the tops of our lungs.

12. We bring out the best in each other.

Since we're family, we're not afraid to be ourselves around each other. If we want to be crazy, we'll be crazy. If we want to have sophisticated talks, we'll have them. We highlight each other's personalities and help each other to be the best that we can be.

13. They'll always be my best friend.

There are so many more reasons why I love my sisters, but the most important reason is that they'll always be my best friend. When I'm alone or lose friends, my sisters will always step up and be there for me. They'll always comfort me in a way that no one else can because we understand each other.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
