It's the beginning of the end, my friends. The project deadlines are quickly approaching, the final paper drafts are starting to surface, and the words "your final will be on..." have graced your ears. April for any college student is one word: insane. I have even found myself under immense stress and anxiety lately... The only thing that keeps me smiling is ending the never-ending day with "The Tonight Show" starring Jimmy Fallon. If I could watch anything for the rest of my life, it would be this show. Hands down. And here's why...

1. Lip Sync Battles

Fallon can get any celebrity to "not" sing at the top of their lungs in ridiculous costumes. The amount of time and energy that goes into a silly five-minute battle is unimaginable...but oh, is it worth it!

2. The Fallon/Timberlake Bromance

Words cannot describe this incredible duo...

3. The Monologue

It's full of the top stories, insults at presidential candidates, snarky side comments, and awkward facial expressions. What more could you want?

4. Hashtags

Thank God, it's Thursday! Because every single Wednesday night, "The Tonight Show" releases a hashtag theme, which usually reflects a current trend in the news. They ask you, yes you, to tweet along with the hashtag. Then on Thursday, Fallon reads the funniest tweets out!

5. The Fallon/Timberlake Bromance

Again, no words...Except in the form of a history lesson concerning the genre of rap.

6. Fallon's Donald Trump Impression

Fallon thrives during presidential election seasons! And this season, especially, has been huuuge!

7. The Roots

And who could forget his incredible Roots? They travel every day from Philly to do the show!

8. The creativity behind the show

It's clips like the one below that make the show stand out!

9. Thank You Notes

Thank God, it's Friday! Fallon shows off his most popular segment, known as "Thank You Notes." He kindly dedicates his valuable time to show his gratitude for the little things that life has to offer. James, cue the sappy piano music...

10. Hashtag the Panda

Probably the dumbest portion on the show, but it kills the crowd every time!

11. EW!
Because only Jimmy Fallon can talk guest stars into perfectly showcasing what it's like to be a basic girl...

12. Puppy Predictors

Every sporting event winner, from the Super Bowl to the Kentucky Derby, can be determined with the help of some furry friends.

13. The Bromance

By now, you should know that Fallon and Timberlake are a match made in heaven.

As you can see, there is no better way to say goodbye to a long day than with Mr. Fallon and his antics!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
