Out of all the seasons, Fall is the best by far. Everything about it feels me with warmth and joy. Here are 12 reasons to get excited about the changing of the seasons.

1. Leaves changing colors

Fall is the prettiest time of the year. The world around us gets painted with warm colors that make being outside fill us with joy.

2. Sweater weather (and flannels!)

One of the best things in world is being able to bundle up in a super soft, comfy flannel or sweater on a chilly day. Not only are they warm but they look adorable too!

3. Leggings

Leggings are the best type of clothing. They look good, their comfy, and you barely have to in any effort!

4. Perfect temperature

As Fall rolls around it brings the perfect type of weather, warm but slightly chilly. It's comfortable enough that you want to spend all your time outside.

5. Hot chocolate/coffee

Anytime of the year coffee is always the answer, but fall somehow seems to make the taste of coffee just so much better.

6. Football games!Football season! The tailgates, the games, the outfits, yelling at people who can't hear you! Everything is so exciting.

7. Blankets

As cliche as it may seem, snuggling up in a blanket after a long day is so rewarding. In the fall you can also sit outside snuggled cozy.

8. Beach

Despite what people may think, Fall is the beach time to visit the beach. No one is there, it's warm enough that you can relax if you want and later in the day you can wear a sweatshirt and just enjoy the view.

9. Pumpkins

Pumpkins make a great decoration item and give off the fall vibe.

10. Bonfires

Hanging out around a bonfire with good friends, music, and snacks. How else would you want to spend your night?

11. Mini golf

The perfect activity to beat your friends and not have them get too offended and end the night with laughs.

12. Scary movie marathons

Even though I'm not a fan of scary movies (I jump really easily), scary movie marathons are my favorite. A bunch of friends get together with lots of food and pillows and get to pee their pants while joking around with their friends.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
