Having a guy BFF is probably one of the greatest and worst gifts in the world. But, they make life way better and much more interesting.

1. You can be yourself with him.

Burping contests just sort of happen sometimes.

2. People always assume you're dating.

Nope. Nope. A million times nope. Yes, he's an amazing guy but ew. I know too much about him to ever see him like that. Eventually, you turn into a joke between you two.

3. You always have someone to be your date at an event, if you end up not finding a different one.

Homecoming? Check. Prom? Check. Random family member's wedding? Boy, you know I'll be there. But, it's understood that there is nothing going on between us.

4. Relationship advice.

I give the best advice to guy friends – however, be careful bringing your guy friend/best girl friend around your SO until they understand there' no competition. See #2.

5. He always has your back.

Creepy guy at a party? He's there. Girls being mean? Chinese food is already ordered. Bad break up? He'll be over with ice cream after punching your ex in the face. Despite you endlessly telling him, you're okay.

6. You probably are a bit more aggressive now.

Let's be real – if you haven't attempted punching him, are you even friends?

7. He's honest.

He'll be straight up about everything. He'll tell you if you're overreacting or being a bit psychotic. He'll also tell you if you look bad. But you do the same to him so it's okay.

8. Somehow they always have a new drinking game to teach you.

How? I have no idea. But it always ends up being fun.

9. They don't always want to go out on weekends like some of my girlfriends do.

Sometimes, you need a lowkey night over going to a giant party or club.

10. He'll put up with you even when you don't even want to put up with you.

Let's be real, he's the real MVP for that.

11. It's not weird when you guys get emotional and serious.

Sometimes, it's easier opening up to you than my other friends. So, I apologize for how many times I've had my mental breakdowns with you around.

12. You can both shamelessly admit to how attractive people are.

"Dude, that guy is so hot." "Girl, I know." - Typical conversation.

13. Life wouldn't be complete without him.

My life is a million times better with their presence. And for that, I'm forever grateful.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
