Thirteen Original Melania Trump Quotes
New York Times

On July 18, 2016, Melania Trump gave a riveting speech at the Republican National Convention that was completely original and absolutely inspiring. The hopeful future-first-lady, however, has provided the world with some lesser-known gems in terms of quotations. Below is a list of original quotes by Melania Trump.

Advice:

1. "You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take."

Mrs. Trump gave this advice to Wayne Gretzky in the early eighties. It truly inspired him.

2. "Remember who you are. You are my son; and the one true king."

It is obvious that the Trump family is American royalty, but Melania got a little excessive with this one.

3. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Melania said this after a delicious meal of green eggs and ham.

4. "When you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance."

She can often be heard singing these words at home. Alas, she also wrote the music for this quote.

5. "Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything."

In the early 90s, Mrs. Trump went through a karate phase. She could often be found in Asian bistros in Chicago trying to practice what she preached.

Questions:

6. "To be or not to be?"

During an existential crisis in college, Melania was heard saying this. She was truly wondering about her place in the world at that time.

7. "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"

She was just curious.

8. "Mrs Robinson, you're trying to seduce me. Aren't you?"

9. "Have you ever met a girl that you tried to date, but a year to make love she wanted you to wait?"

Mrs. Trump lamented this to her dear friend Biz Markie, which prompted him to write an entire song about being friend-zoned.

On Herself:

10. "Yeah, you know me!"

On one of their first dates, Donald Trump asked Melania, "You down with OPP?" She responded with this, proving she was the only one for him.

11. “I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

12. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning."

She can be heard most morning uttering this to her husband over a fresh cup of coffee.

13. “A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.”

Mrs. Trump said this gem to a reporter during a press conference. She was getting upset and wanted to prove that she is a force to be reckoned with.

Melania Trump's speech surely was inspiring. Please, next time you think of a famous qoute, give the credit where credit is due: Always to Melania Trump

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
