13 Netflix Movies That Are A Must Watch

Now, personally, I spend so much time on searching for movies that are worth watching. I try to watch different movies, movies that i have never heard of before. This list of movies are great movies I discovered on Netflix, and Yes, I have watched them all. So check out the 13 movies I listed and sit back with a bag of popcorn, or your favorite candy and enjoy!

1. "Standing Up"

This movie caught my eye, because the cover is so weird honestly. After reading the summary of the movie, I decided to watch it and it ended up being such a great movie. Standing up is about these two kids that went to an overnight camp. They got bullied so bad that they escaped camp and decided to venture off into nature.

2. "Brotherly Love"

"Brotherly Love" stood out, considering I live near Philadelphia. The movie is about gangs that are fighting over money and drugs. It made me emotional actually, I don't know why.

3. "Streets"

Wait, Is that Meek Mill? When I saw him on the cover of this movie, I started to laugh, no lie. This movie was surprisingly awesome, similar to "Brotherly Love." This girl moved from the capital of Pennsylvania to Philadelphia. She started hanging out with the wrong crowd. Once again, this movie involved gang fights over drugs and money.

4. "Unconditional"

"Unconditional" was a great movie. The main character, lost her husband due to a senseless violence crime. She tries to take matters in her own hands, even though the consequences can be dangerous.

5. "Finding Normal"

I decided to watch the movie only because DJ Tanner stars in it. I would literally watch anything that has her in it, because I loved full house that much.

6. "Heart of the Country"

And again, I decided to watch this movie because the main character was in "One Tree Hill." Who doesn't love OTH? This was an amazing movie, and i recommend it to anyone.

7. "Little Red Wagon"

OMG. This movie!!! A natural disaster hits, and this little boy wants to help. He starts collecting items to help the people in need, and he travels miles by foot with his mother to deliver these items.

8. "Beyond the Lights"

This movie was slow at first but then got really good. This famous singer almost jumps off a hotel balcony to commit suicide. A body guard saved her and the rest is history.

9. "Black or White"

"Black or White" was one of the best movies I have seen. This little girl is stuck in between a custody battle, after her main caregiver passed away (her grandma). Now the grandpa is having troubles with raising her all alone, and the black grandmother is witnessing this and wants to take the granddaughter away.

10. "In Your Eyes"

This was such a weird movie, but it was really good and interesting. This woman and man from different sides of the country can see what each other are doing through the persons eyes.

11. "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"

Now, everyone knows about this movie. Everyone in their lifetime should watch this movie at least once. It is really sad but it illustrates what it was like to live in that time.

12. "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"

Let's be honest, Leo should have won an Oscar for this movie. This movie was an awesome movie i just simply stumbled upon one day, never heard of it before seeing it.

13. "Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List"

Naomi and Ely are best friends. Naomi gets a boyfriend and then Ely starts to get with her boyfriend. Weirdest thing, but Victoria Justice is the main character so it made the movie 10x better.

If you don't know what to watch, now that I have given you 13 Netflix movies, you have plenty to choose from. Netflix and Chill anyone?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
