What would New Jersey be without Wawa. It's one of the defining establishments of the area that is here to deliver at any given hour. A Wawa run is great at any point during the day, but some nights you find yourself there with no direction. If it's 3 a.m. and you're fried, go for any one of these things and you'll be more than satisfied with your decision. I guarantee it.
1. Coffee.
We all know someone who consumes an unprecedented amount of coffee. Even at 2 a.m. Sometimes you need that late-night pick-me-up to survive the stress of exam season. Other times it's just the caffeine addiction taking full hold.
2. Honey BBQ Frito twists.
If you don't already eat these delicious little corn spirals, you should start soon. Seriously. Get in your car, and take the trip to Wawa. You will not regret it. These BBQ pieces of heaven compliment any Netflix binge, no matter how late.
3. Red Bull.
Again, when the craving strikes, you have to fuel up. Red Bull after Red Bull, you sometimes just need to stay fueled. You tell yourself, only one more round of Zombies. Next thing you know, 4 empty cans are surrounding your feet and it is 5 o'clock in the morning.
4. Cow Tails
The sad truth of it is that Cow Tails are the most underrated candy you can purchase at any Wawa. For just 25 cents, these caramel candies dominate the counter. Next time you find yourself at the register, splurge a little. Grab a Cow Tail, spend a quarter and live a little.
5. Cheesy Stuffed pretzels.
Sometimes, you need a snack that's gonna sustain you. Cream cheese, cheddar, or Jalapeno, these pretzels are the best thing under the heat lamp. A snack for any hour, cheesy stuffed pretzels are the real MVP of the late night Wawa run.
6. Quesadilla
Sometimes, you need a snack, other times, you need a feast. You won't make the people behind the counter very happy, but trust me, the quesadilla always tastes better after midnight. Chicken and cheese with fresh salsa - some nights it's just what a person needs.
7. Chocolate Milk.
We all have that inner child who loves chocolate milk. It just so happens that Wawa has prime chocolate milk. Really though. I swear they put crack in that jug or something. A half gallon of that chocolate milk, and you're bound to have a good night.
9. Pint of Ben and Jerry's.
When the sweet tooth craves, Ben and Jerry's delivers. Is there really any better dessert than ice cream? I didn't think so. After a long day of school or work, or both, a pint of Ben and Jerry's never fails to satisfy.
10. Lunchables.
Back to the inner child. Every now and again, you need to let it loose. Lunchables are the lunch that can be eaten at anytime in any place under any circumstance. Personally, I go for the "make your own pizzas," but they're all great in their own way. Plus, there's just something liberating about eating lunch at 3 a.m.
11. Nerds rope.
Gummies plus Wonka Nerds. Has there ever been a better candy combination? Don't answer that. A Nerds rope is always a sure choice. Plus, it doubles as a weapon. Perfect for those late night drives.
12. Cheetos Puffcorn (cheesy poofs).
Though cheesy poofs are not the recognized name, that is what Cheetos Puffcorn really is. For two whole dollars you can pick up a bag of cheesy deliciousness. You'll eat the entire bag in one sitting without even realizing it. It's the type of late night snack that disappears before you even realize you bought it.
13. Zapp's cajun potato chips.
Arguably, one of the most underrated potato chip brands in the store. Zapp's cajun style, kettle-cooked potato chips are utterly delicious. They offer a variety of flavors that no other brand can boast. If you've never tried these, get on it. You can thank me later.
