Incredibly, the holiday season has arrived once again. That means Christmas Carols will be traveling the radio waves, last-minute shopping trips to the mall will become increasingly frequent and school will finally be let out for the semester. Yet, how often do we see something holiday-related and understand its true origins? The following is a list of random holiday trivia questions designed to be both fun and enlightening in explaining some little-known facts about the happiest time of the year. If you ace it, consider yourself a true holiday expert -- the questions increase in difficulty as the quiz progresses, with the last two questions being nearly impossible (in my opinion, at least). Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
