Not everyone is as in touch with celebrating Halloween during the whole month of October, which is okay. They don't understand it like we do. They don't feel the same rush of chills as we do when we watch those classic Halloween movies, or carve pumpkins, or put up decorations, or find the perfect costume, or bake those little Pillsbury sugar cookies with the pumpkins on them. Not everyone may understand why we love Halloween so much, but they can still appreciate the meme culture that Halloween brings to the universe. So, without further ado, enjoy these 13 ~spoopy~ memes that will definitely put you in the Halloween spirit!

(Get it? Because 13 and Halloween are both spooky.)

1. "Halloween is soon":

Okay, so maybe it's actually October now, but if you don't think I've been excited about Halloween since July 4th, then you must not know me at all.

2. Cha Cha now y'all:

This might not be referring to the Cha Cha slide, but everyone knows the noise. It happens right before someone's about to die in the movies? Yeah, if only the actors could hear the music playing too.

3. September 30th vs October 1st:

We all know I'm trash anyway, but when Halloween rolls around, I get to be extra spoopy Halloween trash. Don't act like you don't feel the same way.

4. When people try to tell you that there isn't a whole month dedicated to Halloween:

Honestly, why don't people understand that as soon as September ends and we wake up, we start celebrating Halloween? It's definitely deserving of a month long celebration.

5. Time to get spoopy:

See, it's not even something I can control. It's chemically hardwired into my brain that as soon as October is here, I have to get spoopy.

6. What do you mean you don't like Halloween?:

If you're not into Halloween, then our friendship needs to be put on hold for about 31 days.

7. The only reason Haunted Houses should be so expensive:

It just adds a level of haunted to the house, right?

8. Friday the 13th, the night before Halloween:

Obviously, Friday the 13th is not the night before Halloween, but that doesn't mean that the occurrence of both spooky dates int eh same month isn't exciting!

9. General October mood:

I'm not a coffee drinker, but please serve me up a big ol' mug of that spooky stuff.

(I lied, I'm a coffee drinker.)

10. The only time that trespassing is legal:

Yes, hello sir, you don't know me, but I'm one of your neighbors. I'm just going to walk across your yard and demand candy from you now. Where's my costume, you ask? Well...see here..it's actually a funny story..

11. Tryin to stay professional like:

The closer we get to Halloween, the harder it is to keep the Halloween excitement away from the public.

12. The weather forecast calls for a little bit of spooky, folks:

Get ready for the spooky atmosphere coming your way!

13. The quick turn around from Halloween to Christmas:

As soon as the Halloween months come to an end, the Christmas months begin, and so we must wait 11 months for our favorite holiday to come back once again.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
