Today, one of the greatest marches in history occurred. Over 2.5 million women worldwide joined the march to protest the election of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States Of America. Hot- button political issues such as immigration, racism, LGBTQ+ rights and sexism were also main issues at the event.

1. Aerial View

The sheer number of people who showed up worldwide to march in protest was unprecedented.

2. Signs

The colorful signs utilized by the women protesting were another highlight of the march.

3. Charlize Theron

Big names like actress Charlize Theron were seen at the march.

4. Miley Cyrus

Pop culture icon Miley Cyrus was another big name at the march.

5. London

From its roots in a small town in Hawaii, the Women's March spread worldwide; London was one of the epicenters.

6. Antarctica

Even the people of Antarctica joined in.

7. Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill can be seen in front of a massive crowd.

8. Paris

The Eiffel Tower looms over the people as they march.

9. Washington D.C.

The most famous location of the march, Washington D.C. is swamped with people.

10. India

India also partook in the march.

11. Pride

Women show their pride in themselves and members of the LGBT community take a stand.

12. Diversity

The march was an incredible show of diversity, and this Muslim woman in a headscarf stands as a reminder of our country's origins: immigrants.

13. Protest

Women hang bras on trees in protest as they join the march.

10. You are careful about what jokes you share with your parents.

11. "You’re not an adult until you turn 18! You can do whatever you want then!"

12. If plans change while you’re out, you better text or call.

13. Don’t talk back. Ever.

14. When you’re called by your full name, you’re in deep trouble.
