A month and a half have gone by, and we're all still trying to stick to our (every year) New Years resolution: to eat healthy. Eating healthy is always a struggle in college. I mean... who doesn't want the 2:00 a.m. pizza after a night out? Sticking to a New Years resolution is one of the bigger challenges of the new year. Here's a few throwback Disney Channel TV shows helping us explain the different emotions felt when trying to stick to our resolutions.

1. The first week.

It's the first week of #NewYearNewMe, and you're feeling healthy, energized and excited to start off a new year right! You want everyone to know you're on a diet, working out, and trying to get a bikini bod for the summer.

2. When you willingly go to the gym.

The first time at the gym is always a difficult time. I mean, am I supposed to know how to lift and how much weight to lift?!?!?! You run a mile and you're feeling accomplished. You feel like you're on your way to healthy living.

3. When your friend tries to explain how to lift weights to you, but it just doesn't make sense.

What is the difference between reps and sets???

4. When you're in the middle of your workout and you see your crush.

You're sweaty, tired, and probably smelly. You look over to the weights and see the kid from your English class lifting next to you. You quickly try to hide from him, even though he's only 10 feet away.

5. When you ask your friends to come with you to the gym.

I mean... everyone wants a gym buddy!

6. And they say no...

"Just one day please!!! I'll do your laundry for a week!!"

7. When you've finally made it to "cheat day."

Cheat day. The iconic day where it is okay for you to eat a sweet or have something not on your meal plan. Nothing is better than that first bite of bliss.

8. When your friends are getting stressed out over school work and you know the solution.

Working out gets a lot of your stress away. Head to the gym and work out some of that stress!!

9. When you reach your milage goal.

You've been working out for about a month now. You told yourself by the end of the month, you wanted to be able to run three miles. You are able to run three straight miles without stopping. Look at you go!

10. When your friends are all eating unhealthy food around you and you're sitting at dinner with a salad.

Eating healthy is hard enough. When your friends are all ordering Dominos or eating Girl Scout Cookies and you're unable to touch any of it, it's torture.

11. When it's not quite cheat day, but the temptation is too real.

There are so many foods that taste so good but are so unhealthy. It's like they're teasing us just by being in front of us!!

12. When you're starting to get sick of the same meals over and over and over.

You can only eat so much salad before you start craving a cheeseburger and fries.

13. When you are feeling more confident because you know that you are on the way to a healthy lifestyle.

Looking good, feeling better.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
