For our generation, the early 2000s were a time for airing new episodes of the iconic TV shows that we would grow up on and continue to love today. From characters such as Jimmy Neutron all the way to Hannah Montana,we have a lot to appreciate from this era of television.
1. "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
Though this show didn't start until 2005, it's still a childhood favorite for many.
2. "Drake and Josh"
This show was my personal favorite while growing up, and it still holds a special place in my heart even now.
3. "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody"
"No one's got the time." Oh, how I miss the sass and sarcasm from this show.
4. "The Suite Life On Deck"
Between the beloved characters from its predecessor and the many new lovable characters added in, this show was extremely hard to say goodbye to.
5. "The Lizzie McGuire Move"
This was such a fantastic show, and I'd like to give a special shoutout to Netflix for recently removing the film from its site. Now how do we teach the younger generation?
6. "That's So Raven"
Though an entertaining show full of quirky characters, we honestly learned a lot of important life lessons from Raven.
7. "Kim Possible"
Running from 2002 to 2007, this show was pretty important to our childhoods. Watching it now, we also notice the little things we didn't see as kids - like the funny and sarcastic comments on the sign outside Kim's school.
8. "Zoey 101"
It was nice to get closure 10 years after the show ended when they released what Zoey said in her time capsule; however, this video opened up, even more, questions that I would love to get answers to.
9. "Phil of the Future"
This show always had quality jokes and humor that we can still appreciate even now.
10. "Codename: Kids Next Door"
With six seasons and two films, this show lasted for a significant part of our childhoods. Who didn't want a cool tree house to operate out of?
11. "iCarly"
This was a bit later in our childhood, but what an iconic moment from the show.
12. "Hannah Montana"
This show was everything for my best friends and me when it was airing. The music was the soundtrack to every jam session, and the episodes were sure to be quoted in most conversations.
13. "Cory in the House"
I never expected to like this show when I was younger, but it ended up being "cooler than cool."
There is an infinite number of shows from this time that shaped who we were and what we did as kids, but only the best of these shows still stay with us now as we force our youngest siblings to enjoy the same shows we've always loved.
