If you’re like me, you’re probably scrambling to come up with a decent idea for a costume with Halloween just around the corner. Every year we tend to see the same nurses, cops, sports fans and witches that every costume store seems to sell. So if you’re looking for something a little more creative, here are a few unique (and not so unique because yeah, we only have so much time left to get those outfits ready) ideas for those last minute Halloween costumes.

1. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton

These masks are accurate AF and available in so many Halloween stores it's actually hilarious. I have a feeling we'll be having a lot of Donald Trumps running around next weekend. Talk about your creepy ass Halloween.

2. Clowns

And speaking of creepy, you can always go with the classic clown choice if you really want to freak out your neighborhood this year.

PS: Please don't. We've had enough creepy clowns these past few months to last a lifetime (though note my choice of a "happy" clown costume above.)

PPS: JK clowns are always creepy.

3. Joker and Harley Quinn

Kind of basic when it comes to costumes (I'm guessing we'll be seeing a lot of these too) but you can't go wrong.

4. Harambe

#RIP

5. Snapchat Dog Filter

Yes, this is actually a thing. Click here to go to Amazon and check it out for yourself.

6. Starbucks Drink

For the most basic of the basic bitches. Also, totally DIY-able.

7. Pokemon

With the craze for Pokemon Go this year, you'll be right in the trend with any Pokemon costume.

8. Snapchat filters

This one might take a little more artistry, but if you're good with a makeup brush then you should definitely give these unique looks a shot. Check out Patrick Starrr and Shay Mitchell's tutorial on how to make these Snapchat inspired looks here.

9. Life Alert and Old Lady

Would honestly die if I ever saw this in person (thank you Pinterest 😂).

10. Fuckboy and Dating App

Perfect for any millenial.

11. Whip and Nae Nae

Again, thank you Pinterest. Killin' it 😂.

12. Your favorite fictional character

Basically, any character ever created is fair game (*cough* Game of Thrones *cough*).

13. And if all else fails, “Wear all the black shit in your closet, put on a black mask and call yourself a mystery girl or night fairy.”

AKA me every year. (Quote courtesy of a friend who knows me too well).

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
