College can be a very stressful time for everyone. There's papers, tests, reflections, quizzes, social events, work, and not to mention eating, sleeping, and breathing. It can definitely be a lot. Luckily for Christians in college, we know that regardless of how stressed we are, Jesus has got our back. He's looking out for us and He has a plan, but we can forget that sometimes. So in case you need a reminder, here's a few Bible verses that might give some reassurance.

1. Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."

2. 2 Corinthians 12:10

"I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

3. Psalms 37:4-5

"Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you."

4. Ephesians 2:19-22

"You are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God's holy people. You are members of God's family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Jesus Christ himself. We are carefully joined together in Him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through Him you too are being made part of this dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit."

5. Ecclesiastes 3:11-12

"Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can."

6. Ecclesiastes 11:9

"Young people, it is wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything that you do."

7. Matthew 19:26

"Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible."

8. John 15:16

" You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit--fruit that will last--and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you."

9. Philippians 4:6-7

"Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for what He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Jesus Christ."

10. Joshua 1:9

"Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

11. James 1:12

"God blesses those who patiently endures testing and temptation. Afterward they receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him."

12. Philippians 4:19

"My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."

13. Jeremiah 29:11-13

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.'"

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
