A good movie soundtrack can make someone fall even more in love with the movie and characters on the screen. Music is what echoes the feelings and mood of a scene, which can have a strong effect on moviegoers. Whether a movie introduces you to a new artist or features one of your all time favorites, hearing a song coincide with characters on the big screen, is really special. Here are 13 of the best movie soundtracks.


1. Fault In Our Stars

Ed Sheeran, Birdy, Kodaline, and Charli XCX are all featured this album. It's an emotional movie, and soundtrack.

2. Perks Of Being A Wallflower

The Smith's and David Bowie are featured artists in this movie starring Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, and Ezra Miller.

3. The Great Gatsby

This soundtrack is unbelievable. The culture is perfectly captured in these dazzling tracks. Featured artists are Jack White, Fergie, Lana Del Ray, Jay Z, Gotye, The xx, and will.i.am. These musicians from all different genres came together and created a soundtrack that embodied a fresh new spin on a classic F. Scott Fitzgerald story. Baz Luhrmann did a fantastic job.

4. The Hunger Games

This movie features The Civil Wars & Taylor Swift's song "Safe and Sound." Other songs on this soundtrack include "The Ruler and The Killer," by Kid Cudi and "Just A Game," by Birdy.

5. Divergent

This amazing movie soundtrack included songs from Skrillex and Ellie Goulding.

6. 50 Shades Of Gray

Featuring a tracks by The Weekend, Ellie Goulding, Beyonce, Sia, The Rolling Stones, Annie Lennox, AWOLNATION, and Frank Sinatra. An incredible mix of artists produced a jaw dropping, and haunting album.

7. Titanic

"My Heart Will Go On," is not the only song to listen to from this movie. The soundtrack was composed by James Horner and topped charts worldwide. There was room for both of them on the wooden plank, and the world will forever mourn the fictional death of the charming, Jack Dawson.

8. Brother Bear

Between Phil Collins and Tina Turner, this album definitely made the list.

9. Road to El Dorado

Elton John co-wrote several of these songs, which were performed by artists like Don Henley and The Backstreet Boys

10. A Cinderella Story

Hilary Duff rocked out most of these songs, but Jesse McCartney and Edwin McCain were also featured in this heartwarming early 2000's cinderella tale.



11. Wish I Was Here

The Shins, Bon Iver, Hozier, and Paul Simon, just to name a few of the artists on this soundtrack.

12. The Parent Trap

Two Lindsey Lohans?! This classic 90's movie also featured some favorite songs. Nat King Coles "L-O-V-E," "There She Goes," by the La's, and "Here Comes The Sun," are just a few. This soundtrack is sure to put you in a good mood and keep you smiling all day.
