"One Tree Hill" is a show that many of us college aged people have seen and related to over the years. It has nine seasons, 187 episodes, and various characters that us viewers got to fall in love with and watch grow throughout the course of the show. Brooke Davis is one of the most infamous characters on the show that we get to experience grow from season one when she was a trouble making partier without a care in the world to season nine Brooke who is a dependable friend, trusting and ambitious wife, and a successful down to earth business owner. Although my heart lies with lesser liked character of Peyton Sawyer, I can’t deny that Brooke Davis has obvious qualities that makes her one of the most dynamic and well-rounded characters of the show. She isn’t perfect but she is someone who many college aged twenty-somethings admire and relate to. Here are 12 infamous quotes by none other than B. Davis that taught us something about ourselves.

1. "People are gonna label you. It's how you overcome those labels that really matter."

2. "You think you know me, but you don't. And that means you don't know what I can do."

3. "Don't cry for a guy. let a guy cry for you because girls give and forgive, but guys get and forget."

4. "I wanted you to fight for me. I wanted you to say there's no one else you could ever be with and that you'd rather be alone than without me."

5. "Success is wonderful, but finding someone to love and having them love you back. Love is what it's all about."

6. "Sometimes people play hard to get to make sure the other person's feelings are real."

7. "I stopped letting boys define me and started believing in myself."

8. "Sometimes people put up walls, not to keep people out but to see who cares enough to tear those walls down."

9. "Once you lose yourself, you have two choices: Find the person you used to be or lose that person completely."

10. "Life kicks you around sometimes, it scares you and it beats you up. There's a day when you realize you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything it throws your way."

11. "If you had a friend that you knew you'd never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait. Nothing lasts forever."

12. "She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever know. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it."

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
