Well ladies, here we are. We have finally begun a very exciting event that is the 2016 Olympics (shoutout to Team USA on winning that first gold medal though). This is a wonderful time to come together, root for our athletes and celebrate their accomplishments as they represent us in Rio. Whether you're a regular Team USA enthusiast or this is the first time you have watched a competitive sporting event in the last four years, here's just a few of the thoughts that might be crossing through your mind while you are watching the 2016 Olympic Games.

1. It's FINALLY here!

2. One of the P&G "Thank You, Mom" commercials comes on and you promised yourself that you wouldn't get emotional.

3. Alright Team USA, it's time. This is what we've been training for. Did I say we? I meant you. This is what you've been training for. I've been eating Tacos and watching The Office on Netflix. But I'm here and I'm ready.

4. Okay Michael Phelps is getting out of the pool. No big deal. He is only a God among us mere mortals. Stay calm. OMG HIS ABS ARE GLISTENING.

5. But then suddenly remembering the fact that he's engaged and has an adorable baby son.

6. Uhm wait, so when does gymnastics come on?

7. OMG. This is it. Guys! Everyone get out here! Gymnastics is on! I'm really not sure if I'm mentally prepared for this.

8. Okay holy crap. Simone Biles is amazing.

9. Wow I wish my legs looked like hers. They should... I mean, I run sometimes and I always take the stairs.

10. Alright I need to go on a diet. Starting right now.

11. Well, mom's making hamburgers tonight. So tomorrow. My diet can start tomorrow.

12. And she stuck the landing. H*ll yeah, that's right. You don't mess with the USA baby. All we do is win. I wonder if those burgers are ready yet?

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
