For those of us who naturally walk at a fast pace, being stuck behind people who move at the speed of turtle can be nothing short of completely frustrating. I don't know about you, but every time I get stuck behind someone, I feel like they're trying to set a new record for the world's slowest walker. There are probably a lot of thoughts that rush through your mind in this moment, including:

1. How?! How does this happen to me every time I step outside into the world?

2. Can you move any slower? I really don't think you can.

3. Oh just, kidding. Wow, look at that. You actually just managed get even slower.

4. PLEASE move faster! I have places to be and things to get done.

5. It's fine, it's fine, I'm gonna just sneak around you.

6. Hah just kidding, there's too many people on the other side of the path.

7. Please tell me you're going the other way, I'm begging you.

8. Andddd you're still walking in front of me.

9. What on earth did I do to deserve this? Of course this happens on the day of my most important exam.

10. Should I have left my room earlier? Maybe then I wouldn't be stuck behind such a slow walker. UGH.

11. FINALLY they're gone! I can walk at a regular pace now, and no one is in my way!

12. Spoke to soon...now I'm stuck behind another snail. Where did this person even come from!?

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
