Getting your nails done is one of the best ways to pamper yourself. You walk out feeling way more confident than you did walking in. From massage chairs to exfoliated skin to manicured fingers and toes, this is the ultimate getaway when you've had a stressful day. You might even get lucky and sit beside a girl who you can spend the next hour with gossiping while you are all getting groomed. Here are 12 thoughts every girl has at the nail salon:

1. What color should I get?

2. Should I get gel polish?

3. Crap, I forgot to shave my legs! Hopefully, they won't judge.

4. I hope they aren't talking about how tragic my fingernails look or how hairy my legs are.

5. Foam flip flops are the Devil's creation. They do more harm than good.

6. I bumped into something while my nail was wet and now it has a blemish. Ugh.

7. The second coat makes the color look so much better. Phew.

8. You can't really notice it so I won't say anything

9. Jk, hopefully, they don't get mad when I ask to fix my "bump" incident.

10. Now I must stay still until these bad boys are dry.

11. Ugh. Will my nails ever dry?!

12. Now it's tip to tip and go show off my new nails!

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
