Ladies, you know who you are out there. You grew up equally loving both your parents, obviously, but there was just something special about that bond you shared with your dad. There is something even more special about the one you share today as a college student or adult. I definitely grew up a daddy’s girl and can relate to daddy’s girls out there on so many levels.
1. You both have those corny jokes mom just rolls her eyes at.
2. He taught you to love sports, especially screaming at the TV on Saturday's and Sunday's in the fall.
3. You were his sidekick when it came to yardwork, washing the car, grilling, you name it. If dad was doing it, then it was WAY cool.
4. He let you do things like put toy curlers in his hair and fake paint his nails because for some reason that was just more fun doing to him than mom.
5. He has a nickname just for you, and he still uses it even though you’re in your 20’s
6.When mom forced you to go shopping as a family, you always went into the "cool" electronic stores and people watched the crowds, which of course annoyed the heck out of mom.
7. You came to him first when you needed something ($$$) or knew you could convince him to say yes over mom.
8. He picked on you like the older brother you never had, and sometimes mom had to step in and wonder if she was raising two kids or one.
9. The ultimate test with boys will ALWAYS be dad. He can see right through the BS.
10. You and your dad have the same taste in food, and are always down for a greasy burger with some fries.
11. He’s your go-to person for life advice, because you know how patient and understanding he will be no matter how ridiculous the question.
12. When he calls you beautiful, you know how much he means it.
13.He has always been, and always will be, your best friend.
