You’ve had 12 too many cranberry vodkas, about a billion gratuitous orders of munchies and you may (or may not) have partied your way to fleeting Insta-fame during spring break, or ordered outfits beyond the threshold of your $10/hr work study budget.
In just a few weeks, your college days of irresponsibility and anarchy against monetary guidelines are over. You’ll be at home for the summer, working part time at an over-priced ice cream shop, or serving coffee in a professional office, without the apron. All the while, you’re broke AF. And if you’re like me, you live in the most expensive, excessively taxed state in the country, with so much time to do things: New York.
This is a travesty that never seems to cease. Living in a mecca of culture and zest, while battling a hindrance of financial freedom, is a tease. It can lead to conniptions, if you’re not smart. Luckily, I’ve had my fair share of breakdowns over the issue, so I compiled a list for you to not go down that path. You deserve to experience NY, even if you’re saving and imprisoning every dollar in your wallet. Just because you’re on a Dollar store budget, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat yourself like Versace. Lo and behold, a list of cheap, some even free, activities in NYC.
