There are so many complications that come with living with someone and quite often as college students, we get no choice. Some of us get unlucky and get stuck with those roommates you only think exist in movies because no one could be that crazy to live with. For me, however, this was not an issue. I was blessed with a one-of-a kind roommate who has been there for me through the last few years of my life, and yes, we have had our ups and downs, but when it comes down to it, there is a few things we can all thank our one-of-a kind roomie's for.

1. Thank you for lending me your honest opinion when I need it.

Whether it's something as silly as "Does this outfit make me look fat" or "Is it too desperate to ask for his number", you are always there to provide an honest opinion.

2. Thank you for letting me borrow just about anything I could ever need.

From clothes to shoes to office supplies, when I need something in a pinch, you somehow always had my back.

3. Thank you for sharing your food, even when secretly you didn't want to.

You may have just offered because you are being polite, but know that I appreciate the part of the candy bar I got that you were secretly hoping I'd say no to.

4. Thank you for the late night talks.

These will never be forgotten and always be cherished. I don't know how I ever survived without having you around at 2 AM when I couldn't sleep and just needed to sort out life with someone.

5. Thank you for always being ready for crazy adventures.

Whether it's going to get McDonald's at midnight in a blizzard in the dead of winter or going to karaoke night on a Wednesday when I have a test the next morning. It may not have been the best decisions, but looking back I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

6. Thanks for picking up after me from time to time.

There's no one else who would take out the trash and grab the dishes on occasion just to be nice.

7. Thank you for seeing me at my worst and loving me anyway.

Crying with no make-up and a baggy T-Shirt over the boy who just dumped me isn't an attractive state, but you didn't mind a bit.

8. Thanks for always being willing to drink with me,

No matter what day of the week or time of day, I know you'll always make it a good time.

9. Thanks for holding my hair and taking care of me when I've had too many said drinks.

There is no greater gesture in girl world than that of a friend who will hold my hair, get me water and stay up when I've had a bit too much fun.

10. Thank you for never giving up on me.

No matter what I'm going through I constantly can count on you to support me no matter what.

11. Thank you for always color coordinating the room with me.

Because we obviously wouldn't want anything to clash, so everything should be pink, pink or pink.

12. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

You've seen sides to me no one else has and somehow you still love me just the same. I don't feel like I am ever judged for being me and that is one of the best feelings anyone could ask for.

This list could go on forever. There are so many reasons you are one of the best people I have ever met. I am just thankful the University brought us together and forced us to be closer than we could ever have imagined.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
