12 Things to Do This Summer in Atlanta

Summertime in Atlanta can't be beat! There are so many fun things to do whether you want an upscale evening out or a chill afternoon downtown. A few of my favorite things to do this summer in this beautiful town are...

1. Visit the Atlanta Zoo.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

2. Ride a bicycle on the Beltline.

This trail full of artistic murals is perfect for a morning bike ride with friends.

3. Grab a biscuit at Callie's Hot Little Biscuit.

These biscuits come in pairs, but I bet you're going to want more than two.

4. Get dinner at Ray's on The River.

The salmon and the view is to die for.

5. See the sunset at the Jackson Street Bridge.

This is the perfect place to see the skyline.

6. Go to Stone Mountain for the day.

Hike up to the top, ride the train, or watch the laser show. It's the perfect place to visit in the summer.

7. Cheer on your Atlanta Braves.

Go to one of the last few games at Turner Field.

8. Visit Ponce City Market.

Eat, shop, be merry.

9. Walk around Piedmont Park.

The views of the city are beautiful and the walk is easy.

10. Ride SkyView Atlanta.

It's beautiful at night (just a suggestion).

11. Visit the Georgia Aquarium.

Too hot to be outside? Visit the aquarium!

12. Spend time at Atlantic Station.

Watch a movie, shop at IKEA, or eat cheesecake at Copeland's.

There a ton of other fun things to do but here are just a few ideas to get you going.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
