Outgoing people with anxious minds – or minds that overthink – tend to feel anxiety the most intensely, often because we don’t talk about it. And by “often” I mean never.
Our anxiety is a contrast to our big, bold personalities. Strangers would never guess it. We never know when to fight or flight, and our self-angst is maxed out. We are often the life of the party but can also be about to jump out of our skin because of our constant racing minds.

Here are 12 struggles of having an outgoing personality but an anxious mind.
1. We never know how our day is going to go.
It usually goes a little something like this: Anxiety: Okay but what if – Me: Homie we went over this a thousand times and we totally resolved it. Anxiety: Yeah but I’ve looked at it from a new angle and there are like 15 more reasons why you should worry about it.
2. We love people and need to be surrounded by them, but also hate it at the same time.
We aren't quick to trust people. We are very selective on who we surround ourselves with.
3. If you feel us getting distant, please let us know.
We honestly don't mean to draw ourselves away from you.We do not realize we are doing it. Kindly let us know and we will try to control it.
4. Don't expect us to just pour our feelings out to you.
We can't help it. No matter how much we care about you, we are afraid we will say or do too much.
5. There is no such thing as loving us too hard.
Sometimes, we'll think that you’ll have lost interest. Sometimes we’ll become sure you have. Or, at least, that’s what anxiety says. Don’t let our fierce, outgoing personalities fool you - our over-thinking and mind-numbing introspection is a constant factor in our lives. Deep down we know you care, but it never hurts to just say it that one extra time.
6. Believe it or not, some social gatherings can overwhelm us.
People are both the source of our comfort and our anxiety.
7. Some days we need to be left alone to recharge.
We say we want to be alone, but a lot of times we worship those that can get us out of our head.
8. We are the epitome of a conundrum.
We ebb and flow between wanting to be surrounded by many people, reveling in the attention we receive, to being very selective and sort of wanting to isolate ourselves.
9. The smallest things can stress us out.
Even though we are bold people, we tend to be overwhelmed very easily. So anything you do to make our life easier is greatly appreciated. Even the smallest gestures make us melt.
10. We think.. A LOT.
We overthink every situation way more than we need to. Stay calm and let us work it out.
11. Thank you for staying around.
We know that our ways can be annoying sometimes. Most days we talk non stop, and others don't say a word. Thanks for understanding.
12. We're like crystal, but we think we are a bull.
We face tears at the most unexpected time, while still being bold and outgoing. We think we can stand up to anything and still be fine.
