It's the most wonderful time of the year, well...kind of.

Halloween is finally over, Starbucks has replaced Pumpkin Spice Lattes for Peppermint Mocha, some radio stations have switched to playing 24/7 Christmas music, and the Hallmark Channel has finally started playing their corny Christmas movies once again. While it may technically be November, this does not stop any Christmas enthusiast.

Instead of trick-or-treating, we throw our pumpkins away, string up some Christmas lights, contemplate putting up the Christmas tree, and usually run around in our Christmas socks belting out Mariah Carey's song, "All I Want For Christmas" at the top of our lungs.

"Why are we like this?" is a question commonly asked and all I can say is there is something truly magical in the way Christmas time makes us all feel.

While life is busy and crazy sometimes, Christmas is the time to reflect and appreciate that another year has ended with so many memories to remember. We aren't crazy people, I believe we just like to welcome Christmas sooner into our hearts because we like the joy and peace this time of year brings. Here are 12 signs you're a Christmas enthusiast.

1. Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas" album is on repeat starting November 1st.

2. You put up your Christmas Tree before Thanksgiving.

3. Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in Frakenmuth, MI is #christmasdecorationgoals.

4. You buy multiple packs of the Christmas tree and snowman Pillsbury sugar cookie packs.

5. You have strung an ungodly amount of Christmas lights around your room.

6. You buy anything pine scented so your house smells like a Christmas tree.

7. You find yourself wishing for just a tiny amount of snow in the middle of November.

8. You only watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade for the Christmas music and floats.

9. You have already bought everyone's Christmas presents.

10. You have watched "Elf," "The Santa Claus," "It's A Wonderful Life," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" 30 times and it's not even December.

11. You have a countdown on your phone for how many more days there are until Christmas.

12. You don't like anyone who says it is "too early to start celebrating Christmas".

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
