By now, you’ve all probably heard of the book Milk and Honey by young author and poet Rupi Kaur. If you haven’t heard of the book directly, you have definitely seen some of the quotes on VSCO. Divided into 4 inspiring chapters, Milk and Honey embraces heartbreak, corruption, violence, and global issues, and offers personal advice on how to deal with them. With over half a million copies sold, Rupi Kaur has touched the lives and hearts of many. Here are some of the most important lessons I’ve learned thus far, thanks to Milk and Honey.

2. If he wants to be with you, he will be with you.

3. There has to be a balance between fantasy and reality.

4. Motherhood is a beautiful thing.

6. If you aren't happy... leave.

7. How they leave always stays with you.

8. The ultimate breakup to-do list.

9. Just let it go, you can't make it stay.

10. Just keep moving forward.

12. You're stronger than you think.
