1. Jewelry

Pro tip: get sterling silver or a non tarnish metal. If it's a necklace or a bracelet and it's cheap, she'll love the crap out of it, wear it all the time, then it will tarnish and look cheap. You want your jewelry to last, like your relationship.

2. Stuffed Animal

She'll sleep with it at night and think of you everytime.

3. Candy

This is a given, but fancy chocolates are nice.

4. Hat and scarf

Useful items are always appreciated. Also they'll wear it all the time because now they have a personal connection to it!

5. Mugs

Useful item again! Warm drinks give the warm and fuzzies.

6. A Framed Picture

Framed pictures are AMAZING. Anything personal is fantastic.

7. Key chain

This is a chain my long distance boyfriend bought for me. Another item they would see on a daily basis! The more personal, the better!

8. A "do-you-know-me" item

Buy them a t-shirt of their favorite band or a cool poster from their favorite show.

9. Activity tickets

Concert tickets. Zoo tickets. Amusement park tickets. A plane ticket! They all make for fun dates you can do together.

10. Flowers

FYI, Flowers make girls melt any day of the year.

If you can't afford much, this would be a fantastic money saver and a gift to remember. Go sled riding, make hot chocolate, watch Elf, give her a massage! Light candles, be romantic!
