1. Contemplating the importance of expensive textbooks, then shelling out $20 on takeout.
Domino's, Pizza, or late night runs to McDonald's, we chose food over everything.
2. Crying over how much work we have to do, then binge-watching Netflix to avoid our responsibilities.
Papers, projects, presentations,,, the three deathly "p's" of college... and do not even get us started on the "F-word"... FINALS. Netflix is definitely the path of least resistance... until later that is.
3. Cancelling plans to take a nap....
Hellooooo? priorities people.
4. ...And taking naps at all hours of the day.
^^^^^^^We couldn't have said it better ourselves^^^^^^^
5. Procrastinating on doing laundry until we have no more clean underwear.
There's nothing like realizing the night before that you either have to do laundry or go commando... and we all know which option we choose more often.
6. Thinking we will be able to handle having an 8 am class, then sleeping through the first week.
Raise your hand if you have been personally victimized by a 7:30 a.m. alarm.
7. Drinking coffee to cure our exhaustion.
Some of us have forgotten that we don't even like coffee... it is not just a part of our daily attempt to make it through the day.
8. Telling ourselves we will go to bed early, then staying out until 4 am.
Yeah... this is why we take naps at 2 in the afternoon.
9. Pretending we don't miss our family, then crying over the fact that we have to do our own dishes.
We are thankful everyday for the creation of paper products and plastic utensils.
10. Having a Starbucks barista that knows your order by heart.
Thank you, thank you! At least someone in our lives just gets us.
11. And the worst... Sleeping through meal times, then kicking ourselves for missing out on an opportunity to eat.
There is nothing more disappointing than realizing your love for naps disrupted your love for food.
12. Lastly, denying we are guilty of number 1-11.
No worries. No judgement.
