So here we are in limbo. It's that period of time where we're stuck between Winter and Spring. This time gives us a little taste of what's to come. This is the time of year where symptoms of Spring fever arise. More and more hints of warmth and happiness pop up as each day goes by and this causes a spike in Spring fevers. Here are 12 symptoms of Spring fever.

1. You jump for joy when the temperature rises above 50.

It's like the best thing in the world when the sun is out and it's not too cold.

2. You find yourself breaking out the Spring apparel.

You keep trading your winter clothes for spring clothes and before you know it there's a complete wardrobe change.

3. You look for excuses to spend time outside every day.

You think of any reason possible to be able to spend more time outside. How can you not take advantage of a beautiful day?

4. And you actually find yourself wanting to be more active.

You suddenly have 10 times more energy! You want to be doing something at all times.

5. This leads you to realize Spring means it's almost Spring break!

Almost spring = spring semester = spring break!!!

6. So you better get started on that beach bod.

Running. Crunches. You name it. It's time to get that ultimate bikini body.

7. You find yourself in a good mood for no reason.

Spring brings a feeling of happiness along with it. You find yourself constantly grinning and skipping along. It's kind of creepy actually.

8. You actually don't mind when it rains.

Hey it's not snow right?

9. You even start making a Spring bucket list.

Before the snow has even fully melted you have a spring bucket list ready to go.

10. When you see a flower sprouting up you get way too excited.

You just about throw a party when you start seeing something green shooting up from the ground. It's a good sign.

11. You start rolling your windows down and blasting your music on car rides.

The wind in your hair and a spring feeling in the air. There's nothing better than that.

12. You're even thinking a little bit about Summer!

It might still be February but there's only a few months until June. Summer will be here before you know it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
