Summer is in full swing, which means there is plenty of time to cross skydiving off the old bucket list or some other stereotypical death defying feat. I don't know about you but I love hearing about other people's bucket lists because I am always searching for new things to add to mine. While I expect everyone to have a few overused bucket list items I want to suggest a few that you may not have thought of before!
1. Go hotel pool hopping.
I've always wanted to go pool hopping at each rooftop hotel pool down at the beach.
2. Fill water balloons with paint, attach them to a canvas and throw darts to pop them and make art.
I know I can't be the only one who saw that scene from princess diaries with Mia and her mom and wanted to do that.
3. Rooftop star gazing.
Yeah sorry, cliche I know.
4. Get scuba diving certified.
I don't know why but scuba Steve from the movie Mr. Deed's as a kid was what sparked this fascination.
5. Take a road trip in a sleeper van.
Save time and money not having to search for a hotel and minimalism can teach you much more than you expect.
6. Shower in a waterfall.
Actually sometimes chasing waterfalls is fun.
7. Actually wake up for that sunrise beach yoga class you've always set your alarm for.
There's some things you might not be cut out for but you still just have to mark them off the bucket list.
8. Take a photography class.
Lets be honest, no one knows what those extra settings mean on your camera, so go find out before you pass up a great sunset photo opportunity on your travels.
9. Drive through the middle of a red wood tree.
A tree you can drive through, I know I'm not the only one who thinks thats crazy.
10. Take a Segway tour around a big city.
Yes, thats right you know we all laugh at those people but secretly really want to hop on one.
11. Go indoor sky diving.
For those too scared to jump out of a plane try out a wind tunnel!
12. Sleep in an eno.
Preferably in some national park somewhere with a couple friends.
Here are a few simple things that you can still cross off your bucket list with the two months of summer you have left. Everyone's bucket list is different so yours may differ but if you're looking for some ideas then you're welcome to a few of mine for this summer.
