Those who are graced with 20/20 vision have no comprehension of the struggles that those who wear lenses for the purpose of correcting vision. Those who wear glasses to correct both near-sightedness and far-sightedness can relate on many levels to these struggles.
1. Getting your first pair of glasses and seeing what the world is supposed to look like.
2. Getting out of bed in the morning and suffering complete blindness for a few short moments before you find your glasses.
3. Once you put your glasses on you see the world in a new perspective.
4. Opening the dishwasher, and your glasses get all foggy.
5. Contact lenses.
6. And when you run out of contact lenses so you have to wear your glasses.
7. Playing sports in gym classes usually ended in a broken nose.

9. People who wear glasses without prescriptions.
10. Picking out a pair of "fashionable" glasses.

Wearing glasses adds an extra struggle, but think about what life would be like without them! Glasses allow you to see the beautiful things the world has to offer, and many around the world are not privileged with the ability to see. So thank you to my glasses, they may be cumbersome- but I wouldn't be able to go anywhere with out them!
