The 12 Stages Of Going Home For Winter Break

Winter break: it's a magical time when you can catch up on sleep, see your friends from home, spend some time with your family, and then eventually get really bored and wish you were back at school again. It's a sequence we're all familiar with.

1. You know you're home when the wifi connects automatically.

2. You also notice that your parents hit up the store.

3. Your parents want to do everything for you just because they're so happy you're home.

4. You're feeling Christmas AF.

5. And you finally get to reunite with the home squad.

6. It's all good until you remember you have to work.

7. Or until you leave your house and see someone from high school unexpectedly.

8. When the holidays are over, you're not really sure what to do with yourself.

9. Even Netflix is starting to get boring.

10. And actually having to drive to see your friends is beginning to be a bit of a hassle.

11. Also, your parents are getting kind of sick of you.

12. Eventually you start wishing you could go back to school.

And when you do leave to go back, you know you're gonna miss home a little bit. That and the wifi.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September.
