If you are like me, you did not go to (or was not invited to) parties in high school where there was drinking. Now that I am in college, I go to parties every once in a while where people are drinking. Personally, I still choose not to drink. Experiencing parties is different when you are sober rather than drunk (I would assume), and with the help of our good friend SpongeBob, I want to show you what it's like being the sober guy at the party.
1. Just because you are sober does not mean you are not "cool."
2. Many people will tell you that you are "boring."
3. But you can easily impress others in their inebriated state.
4. On the bright side, you get to be the person who everyone asks how crazy they were the previous night.
5. You can tell anyone anything, and they will just light up.
6. A downside is that you have to deal with the friend who is the sad drunk.
7. Answering after being drunk dialed gets annoying.
8. Drunk friends try to get you out of your comfort zone, but you are fine being left alone.
9. Drunk friends try to dance with you and you are just not having fun.
10. When people realize you can safely take them to Taco Bell (or Whataburger).
11. Most things you hear people say are just confusing.
12. By the end of the night, you are just so fed up with everything going on.
Basically, being the sober guy is like being a babysitter who decided to watch toddlers for no reason other than the entertainment they provide.
