A good playlist is essential to stay motivated while working out at the gym. The time just seems to go by faster when I'm pushing myself to do an extra 10 minutes of cardio and listening to an upbeat song. That last set of lifting weights doesn't seem so impossible when I'm distracted by a good song. Turn up the volume so you can't hear the sound of the machines running. Get lost in the empowering lyrics.
