Music is my savior. Whether I need to laugh, cry or scream, there is always a song for me. Sometimes the best thing to do is to get in my car and drive until the road or the music soothes me. eventually one or the combination of both works. Here are 12 songs that make me feel better.

1. "Can't Help Falling in Love"

I know the original is Elvis but, I love Tyler's voice! And this song give me hope that one day maybe someone will love me like this.

2. "Me Too"

I am not a huge Meghan Trainor fan, but the message in this song is important! Be yourself, and love yourself! You do not need anyone else and you are perfect just the way you are!

3. "Cake By The Ocean"

This song is just a party. I cannot help to dance every time i hear it! And I mean every time, even at work! It just makes me happy and we all need happiness in our lives—plus, I have missed Joe Jonas!

4. "7 Years"

Lukas reminds us that life goes on. Your under pressure now and you'll be under different pressures later. The struggles of today will be gone tomorrow. Just keep moving!

5. "Stitches"

Sometimes you lose the one you want. It's so hard when this happens and you try to stay positive but sometimes, you need help.

6. "Wildest Dreams"

When you can't have that person, you wish they remember you. You want to be on their mind even if you shouldn't.

7. "Break Free"

You also need to remember to not let people have power over you. You are strong, and powerful, and you can not be broken!

8. "For A Boy"

You should never give concessions because he's a boy. That gives them no right to try to break us. We should not do something for a boy, we should do it for us, but damn, that's hard.

9. "You Should Be Here"

This song nearly makes me cry every single time I hear it. I can relate because I lost my mom and there are times when she should be here and I hate that she is not.

10. "That Don't Sound Like You"

Have you ever loved someone and lost them and then when you see them again they are not the same at all and it just kind of breaks your heart? I have. You miss them so much and then when you get them back they are not the same anymore. Unfortunately that is on us, not them.

11. "Different For Girls"

If you have not heard this one yet, you need to. It is so true and again makes me want to cry. Do not get me wrong—guys have emotions, too, but, we really do deal with them differently.

12. "Face Down"

Fight back! Scream! Do not be a victim! Pushing around a girl does not give you power—it makes you a coward, and we do not deserve it! This song gives us strength.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
