10 Signs Your Roommate Might Actually Be Your Soulmate

Maybe you got lucky and your freshman roomie was awesome or if you're like me and you've been through some ups and downs before you've found the holy grail of roommates -- your best friend. They have seen it all and more than likely been right by your side. Here are a few signs your roommate might actually be your soulmate:

1. They will not judge you.

When you go out without them people begin to think something is wrong -- you come as a pair and everybody knows that.

2. You love/hate all the same people.

You can hang out all day, every day without getting tired of each other -- really your only friend.

3. You have all the same ideas about food.

You like all the same places and you're always craving the same thing at the same time. The same goes for alcohol.

4. You basically have one big closet.

You can always count on her to let you borrow something when you inevitably "have nothing to wear."

5. You have a show you watch together.

You will never pass up the opportunity to sprawl out on the couch and watch your fav show together -- and it's not the same without your rookie beside you.

6. You always know where they are.

If they're not home, you know exactly where they are at all times of the day.

7. You walk around naked.

This is a common occurrence, not weird at all -- until the neighbors walk by.

8. You share food.

And basically everything.

9. They always know what say.

Whether you hooked up with an ugly guy or you bombed a test, your roomie is always there for you.

10. You're really not sure you can live without each other.

No this is not an ordinary friendship. This is some next-level intimacy, no one else would ever understand. Living with your best friend assures you will have some of the craziest and happiest experiences of your life. So share with the one you love, over a bottle of wine -- because, why not?

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
