1. Everyone loved Mrs. Betty Wagoner.

And you honestly feel horrible that the kids going to CHHS right now will never get to know her like we did. She was truly the most influential part of everyone's high school career. Each student left with their own unique story about the antics of Wag and will forever cherish her love and guidance.

2. Uniforms were originally your biggest nightmare, but became more of a suggested color code as years went on.

Not to mention all of the excuses we came up with to avoid wearing them.

Expectation:

Reality:

3. The schedule you receive at registration in the summer is very rarely the same schedule you keep during the first week of school.

If "Clueless" was set at Charles Henderson High School:

Mel: "Which reminds me, where's your class schedule?"

Cher: "It's not ready yet."

Mel: "What do you mean, 't's not ready yet?'"

Cher: "Well, some teachers are trying to low-ball me, Daddy. And I know how you say, 'Never accept the first offer,' so I figure these classes are just a jumping off point to start negotiations."

4. The lunch line was a war zone, and it was every man for himself.

If you weren't careful, you ended up on the wrong side of a massive elbow. Needless to say, the ones who wanted to survive brought their lunch to school.

5. In the unfortunate event of having to go to the restroom, you made the haul all the way to the 200 building.

Everyone knows the 100 building bathroom has no doors on the stalls, the cafeteria bathroom seldom has soap and that no one dares to enter the dreaded 300 building bathroom. Also, no teacher questioned your long period of absence. They knew. They understood.

6. If it even looked like it was going to rain, there goes your break time.

Office administration over intercom:

"Attention teachers and students, please excuse this interruption, but due to the 1 percent chance of rain predicted to happen within the next three hours, break is canceled for the rest of the week".

7. Four minutes was never enough time to make it from English all the way to P.E.

But as time went on, you cared less about being on time, and more about how to get out of P.E. all together.

8. We all had at least one class a year that was an easy pass.

This period acted as a much need break from classes like chemistry and Mrs. Peterson's English class.

9. Homecoming week made for some of the best adventures of the entire year.

Every day had a unique dress-up theme, each class competed to make the biggest and best homecoming float and everyone waited with anticipation to see who would be crowned homecoming queen. And don't forget the junior vs. senior war that took place at the end of the week!

10. Making the trek from the bottom parking lot to your first period class tested even the most athletic of your classmates.

Principal: "Why are you late?"

Me: "Just climbing Mt. Everest, no big deal."

11. With all of the clubs, sports and activities offered, it was nearly impossible to not find somewhere you fit in.

Even when you did find your place, there were still so many opportunities to expand your horizons and make new friends.

12. You will keep the memories you made at the "Gem Atop A Hill" with you forever.

Thank you to Charles Henderson High School for a great 4 years!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
