Webkinz came out in 2005 and were all the rage for years. The thought of your account expiring was a nightmare you couldn’t even begin to imagine. Growing up, I had close to 30 Webkinz and when combined with my siblings, we had about 90. Looking back, I laugh at how insane that amount is but we were obsessed. And we weren’t the only ones. Here are some signs that Webkinz was your life:

1. You had multiple

It was like a mini family.

2. You remembered each of their birthdays and threw a party, at least once.

It was a major event.

3. You brought them to play dates

You loved to play with their pets you didn't have.

4. Your house looked like it was designed by a professional because that’s how serious you took it

Every room had a theme.

5. You dressed your Webkinz better than you dressed yourself

So fetch.

6. The events calendar was like your social calendar

Can't talk. Gotta enter for a picnic table.

7. You had more money on Webkinz than you will ever have in your life

Ah, if only.

8. The Wheel Of Wow, The Wishing Well, The Tournament Arena and The Arcade were always on your daily to do list

You crossed your fingers and prayed to get a ton of Kinzcash

9. Meeting up in the clubhouse with your real life bff’s webkinz was almost as good as a play date

" Which room should we go to? "" That one's full, let's go here."

10. Getting a wish token for the wish factory was like Christmas morning

The best stuff was only available here

11. Your goal was to get the crown after finding all the gems at The Curio Shop

" This is the 3rd time I've gotten Aurora Rox what the heck!!!"

12. Dr. Quack's Doctor's Office, The Employment Office, Kinzville Academy and Quizzy's were just some of your weekly visits

After a while, you grew out of Webkinz but the little kid inside of you will never get rid of them. Maybe one day our kids can pick up where we left off.
